Chinese Ambassador promises to help fight galamsey in Ghana

Shi Ting Wang, the Chinese Ambassador to Ghana has said they wikl commit their support to Ghana in their fight against illegal mining.
Environmental protection to Mr Shi Ting Wang is of equal importance to China as it is to Ghana hence their readiness to fighting against galamsey.
Chinese nationals have over the years been the major stakeholders of the mining illegalities in the country so this communique from the Chinese embassy raises some streaks of doubts in the minds of Ghanaians.
Speaking after paying a courtesy call on the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration, Shirley Ayorkor Botchway last week, the ambassador said China will ensure that all agreements it has signed with Ghana are of mutual benefit.
As Ghanaians look forward to the unfolding actions by the government to dealing with the menace the miners have been promised that the ban will soon be lifted as the roadmap is being rolled out.
